Covergirl continues to perform well in all categories. According to CTFA data for financial year 2006/07:

• Covergirl grew by 20% in volume, the fastest growing brand in the competitor set.
• Covergirl grew by 16% in value, the second fastest growing brand in the competitor set. In the Face category, Covergirl grew 14% in volume and 16% in value, the second fastest growing brand in the competitor set.
• In the Eye category, Covergirl grew 50% in volume, the fastest growing brand in the competitor set. Covergirl grew 49% in value, the second fastest growing brand in the competitor set. (source: CTFA data July 07).

According to Roy Morgan research, for the first time, Covergirl is ranked in the top 5 purchased products in all four face categories measured, and for the first time in lipstick and eye shadow. (Source: Roy Morgan Single Source Data June 07, Pollinate).

Covergirl’s new wall stand has brought new sales and a bigger and better energy to the brand. Sales tracking on stores with the new stand has revealed an overall sales increase of 21% upon last year in September. With new features including product and tester displays, the stand is easy to shop and easy to stack. Many months of research went into the shop-ability of the new stand and shelves were designed to house testers beneath the products making for easy access.

Product categories are blocked and ranged to ensure best adjacencies when shopping for a ‘look’ and the information below each product not only gives you all the colour shades and names but also explains each benefit – making it easier for consumers to choose the product that’s right for them.
