CoverGirl’s Australian distributor, The Heat Group, is proud to announce that Jennifer Hawkins has re-signed as the Australian face of the international cosmetics brand.
This will be the fourth year that Jennifer will be the Australian face of CoverGirl.
“Jennifer has definitely been an asset to the CoverGirl business in Australia and we are delighted that she has signed on again to be the Australian face of the brand,” says Heat Group Managing Director, Gillian Franklin.
Jennifer’s initial appointment was the first time the iconic brand has signed a local star to be the face in Australia and it was a choice that has paid off for The Heat Group and its brand owners, Procter & Gamble. CoverGirl had previously only used global advertising campaigns in Australia.
Through a clever and strategic marketing campaign, The Heat Group has integrated Jennifer with CoverGirl’s diverse international faces, such as Drew Barrymore, Rihanna and Ellen DeGeneres, to ensure a wide consumer representation was achieved.
Heat’s Creative Director, Bev Craig, was responsible for initiating Jennifer as the face of CoverGirl and she hasn’t been disappointed.
“Jennifer’s appointment has been fantastic on all levels. She is an absolute professional when it comes to her work ethic, gracious when dealing with fans and has a fantastic rapport with the Australian public and media,” says Craig. “Not to mention her natural, fresh beauty shines through in the CoverGirl photo shoots and is therefore a perfect representation of CoverGirl cosmetics.”
