In The Community

At Heat, we believe it is important for our business and our team to be involved with and give back to the community.

As such, every year Heat provides product and support to Look Good Feel Better, Fitted For Work and Bridge Builders Youth Organisation.

Fitted For WorkFitted For Work is a not-for-profit organisation focussed on assisting disadvantaged women secure employment. FFW identified that many Australian women don’t have the financial means to fund outfits suitable for interviews, and as such they were struggling to apply for jobs.  Heat, via its polls and research, confirmed the importance of make-up and appropriate grooming for interviews and decided to become the exclusive make-up sponsor for this worthwhile organisation.

Bridge BuildersBridge Builders  is a not-for-profit youth organisation committed to assisting disadvantaged young people improve the quality of their lives and opportunities. The organisation uses event management, leadership development, mentoring and camps to build ‘assets’ (skills) into young people.  The model works on the principal that the more assets young people have, the less likely they are to engage in a wide range of high-risk behaviours and more likely they will thrive.

Look Good Feel BetterLook Good Feel Better is a not-for-profit organisation that is funded by the cosmetic industry. It is committed to improving self-esteem and ultimately the quality of life of people undergoing cancer treatment. Their aim is to improve self-image and appearance through complimentary group, individual, and self-help beauty sessions, all fully funded by the industry, because at the end of the day if you look good…you feel better.

Heat has also supported a number of other initiatives and not for profits organisations.

Commitment to working women - The Heat team is committed to understanding the challenge that working mothers face in trying to juggle their lifestyle needs with a career, as well as the economic impact this balancing act has on our economy.

One of Heat’s initiatives is to regularly capture the views and concerns of Australian women and share them with the business community, the media and Government so that they can better serve the needs and concerns of Australian women.
